Hi, I’m Tim Shurr.

"I’ve spent 35 years sitting across from people who felt like they were failing, only to show them that their brain was just stuck on an old loop. I wrote this book so you could have that same 'aha' moment in your own living room.

I’m a multi-award-winning clinical Hypnotherapist with more than 35 years of experience, and I’ve facilitated 10,000 individual weight loss hypnosis sessions. I’ve helped thousands of people change deeply ingrained habits around food, stress, and self-sabotage. Much of my work has focused on individuals who have tried multiple diets and approaches yet continue to feel stuck despite knowing what to do.

Over the years, my work has been featured on ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX News, and the TEDx stage, and I’ve written six books exploring how subconscious patterns shape behavior, including One Belief Away and Get Out of Your Way. Everything in this book reflects what consistently produces results in improving health and happiness.
